Eagleston Holly

Eagleston Hollies are stunning trees. They make an excellent tree or a privacy hedge. In the fall they explode with an abundance of round red berries that attract wildlife - especially birds.

Eagleston Hollies grow 20-25 feet tall with a spread of 10-20 feet. They have full, dense foliage with soft spines and a pleasant light green color. The tree has a dense canopy with small slender branches which are smooth and light to medium gray.

Our 15-Gal Eagleston Hollies are about 8 feet tall, have a caliper of about 1.0 inch, and a spread of about 3 feet.

Our 30-Gal Eagleston Hollies are about 8-9 feet tall, have a caliper of about 1-1.5 inch, and a spread of about 3-4 feet.

Our 65-Gal Eagleston Hollies are about 12 feet tall, have a caliper of about 2.5 inch, and a spread of about 6 feet.

The Eagleston Holly has a pyramidal shape. You can grow them naturally as as a tall screen with full branching all to way to the ground - or - you can clip the bottom limbs off to make a clear trunk “tree form”.

Eagleston Hollies thrive in USDA zones 6 to 9. They are slow growing. They like either full sun or partial sun with well-drained soil.

The Eagleston Holly is a natural hybrid of the Dahoon Holly and the American Holly (Ilex x attenuata).

The Eagleston Holly is less prone to many diseases. It is a beautiful evergreen holly!
